Drop your shoes off at our Wollishofen store or enquire about sending them by post. For nubuck, suede and designer shoes, we assess the material and condition and quote individually.

02 / OUR CLEANING PROCESS
Step by step.
Care in every detail.
How we care for suitable sneakers — from the laces to the finishing touches. We assess material and condition first.
Remove loose dirt
We first remove loose dirt using compressed air and a brush.
Clean the laces separately
We remove the laces and soak them in a cleaning solution.
Pre-treat & allow to work
We lightly moisten the sneakers with cleaning solution and allow it to work.
Treat stubborn stains
Where needed, we target stubborn stains with specialist spotting agents and a spotting gun.
Clean inside & out
We spray the shoes with cleaning solution again, then use the shoe-cleaning machine’s different brushes to clean them inside and out.
Extract excess water
After cleaning, we extract excess water in a drum before moving the shoes into the drying cabinet.
Dry & disinfect with UV
In our UV drying cabinet, the shoes are dried and disinfected with UV light.
The fresh finish
Finally, we refit the laces, spray shoe deodorant inside and insert air cushions.

Water-repellent protection: typically up to 6 months.
Duration depends on the material, wear, weather and care. Heavy use or cleaning may require earlier reapplication. The treatment does not make shoes permanently waterproof.

Which shoes can you clean?
We clean suitable sneakers and sports shoes and also offer care for suitable leather shoes. We assess suitability for machine cleaning based on material and condition. Please ask first about suede, delicate leather or special embellishments.
How do you care for hygiene?
We use UV-light disinfection, steam and professional spotting agents as appropriate for the material and soiling. We assess which steps are suitable for your pair before treatment.
What do you offer for leather shoes?
Smooth-leather cleaning starts at CHF 18 per pair. Care and conditioning cost an additional CHF 10, and waterproofing treatment an additional CHF 10 per pair. Nubuck, suede and designer shoes, including Gucci and Loewe, are priced on enquiry. We discuss suitable polishing individually.
How long does the waterproofing treatment last?
Typically up to six months, depending on material, wear, weather and care. Frequent wear, wet conditions or cleaning may mean earlier reapplication is needed. It is water-repellent protection, not a permanent waterproof guarantee.
How much does cleaning cost?
Cleaning suitable sneakers costs CHF 18 per pair; smooth-leather cleaning starts at CHF 18 per pair. Waterproofing and care/conditioning each cost an additional CHF 10 per pair. Nubuck, suede and designer shoes are priced on enquiry. Shipping is not included.
How long does it take?
Allow around 24 hours in most cases. Material, drying and workload may mean it takes longer. We agree a collection time at drop-off. For mailed-in shoes, postal transit time is additional; we discuss shipping and return arrangements separately.

Do I need an appointment?
You can drop off during opening hours. For special materials or questions, contact us beforehand.
Will every stain disappear?
We use professional spotting agents and, where suitable, steam to target a variety of stains. Results depend on the material, age and type of stain. Cleaning cannot remove every discolouration, sign of wear or damage. We assess your shoes first and discuss realistic expectations.
